How do I book an appointment?
Start by booking a free consultation to make sure you are a good candidate. A 50% deposit will be due in order to schedule your appointment. Pricing may vary.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Please be brow tint free for at least 5-6 weeks. The color in the tint could react with the pigment used during procedure.
The week before your appointment we recommend refraining from blood thinners, aspirin, retinols, alcohol, and sun bathing.
How long does it last?
Permanent Cosmetics last 1 to 2 years for most people, before it needs a touch up. Eyeliner typically lasts 3 to 5 years.
Does it hurt?
Most clients report little to no pain! We use a topical anesthetic to numb the area.
How long is the appointment?
It usually takes 2 hours, with most of the time spent going over colors and drawing the eyebrow shapes. This is called brow mapping. The actual microblading portion takes between 45 minutes to an hour.
How long does it take to heal?
In the first 7 days, you will need to avoid getting them wet, working out, chlorine, sun, and wearing brow makeup. It takes UP TO 30 days to completely heal, in which time you may experience scabbing. You will receive comprehensive aftercare instructions as well as ointment cream.
When should I get a touch up?
Complimentary touch ups are included within 8 weeks of your original appointment. There will be a charge fee for any touch-ups past 8 weeks.
Who is ineligible for Permanent Cosmetics?
If you are pregnant or nursing, you should not get permanent cosmetics. We do not offer services to: people under 18 years old, if you have diabetes, glaucoma, shingles, psoriasis, eczema, allergies to makeup, keloid disorder, HIV, hepatitis, skin cancer, hemophilia, or if you are taking skin medications like accutaine and steroids. Further terms and conditions may apply.
What are the differences in brow techniques?
Ombre Brow: Hair color is generally darker at the roots through the mid-shaft and gradually gets lighter from the mid shaft to the ends. This option can include hair strokes and shading, or just shading.
Powder Brow: A soft powdery color that matches your natural hair color to fill in sparse areas in the brows. A powder technique is used instead of brow strokes if the client already has plenty of brow hair. If you use a brow makeup powder to fill I everyday, this may be the choice for you.
Microblading: Tattooing individual hair strokes with a handheld tool called a microblade.
Hairstrokes: Similar to Microblading, using a machine instead of a hand held microblade.
